After an extensive search and review of many excellent applicants from in state and out of state, we are pleased to announce Keith Etheredge as our next Head Football Coach.

Coach Etheredge is a proven winner

Played for 5 State Championships winning 4

  • 6 Semi-final appearances and 10 quarterfinal appearances
  • 13 years as a Head Coach; His teams made the playoffs every season
  • Invited to coach in the US Army All-American Game (National honor)
  • Coached in the Alabama/Mississippi All Star game 3 times
  • Head Coach for the North team in the AHSAA North/South game
  • Named Birmingham News Northeast Coach of the Year (two times)
  • Named Birmingham News Metro Coach of the Year
  • Named Fox 6 Coach of the Year

 

Along with the accomplishments and wins on the field, Coach Etheredge also brings strong character, a desire to build relationships, a commitment to excellence and love for his players and family.

We are pleased to welcome Coach Etheredge, his wife Allison, son Cam and daughter Mac to the Oxford family.
