Friday’s game against White Plains was a heartbreaker for Oxford Lady Jackets Varsity, as they lost the lead late in a 2-1 defeat.
The game was tied at one with White Plains batting in the bottom of the fifth when Jordan Hinton grounded out, scoring one run.

Emily Thrasher took the loss for Oxford Lady Jackets Varsity. She lasted six innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out four and walking one.
Oxford Lady Jackets Varsity tallied one home run on the day. Howell put one out in the first inning.
Howell and Bailey Clark each collected one hit to lead Oxford Lady Jackets Varsity.
White Plains was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Hinton made the most plays with six.
