Oxford Lady Jackets Varsity defeated Southside 13-3 on Friday thanks to a timely seven runs in a big fifth inning.

Bailey Clark, Takya Garrett, Ametria Wilson, Sarah Howell, Emily Thrasher, and Clark all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Southside got things moving in the first inning, when Herron singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Oxford Lady Jackets Varsity pulled away for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Garrett singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Howell singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
