Wrestling Wins AHSAA 6A North Super Sectional

Friday and Saturday the Oxford Wrestling team traveled back to the Birmingham Crossplex, this time to compete in the AHSAA 6A North Super Sectional Championships. Wrestling Senior Night is a Win

Thursday night saw the Oxford Wrestling Team celebrate its three seniors, Landon Burrage, Micah Newell, and Wesley Slick, as well as, win its final two dual matches of the season. On Friday, January 25, the Oxford Wrestling team found themselves in a familiar location facing a familiar opponent for the 6A AHSAA State Duals Championship. Wrestling Team Heading Back to Duals State Championship

On Friday night beginning at 6PM, the Oxford High School Wrestling team will look to pin down a third straight AHSAA Duals State Championship. This match will be the end of a process that began with the team winning its third straight Region Title on Dec 27 at Benjamin Russell to get into the tournament.

2018 Wrestling Parent Meeting

 There will be parent Wrestling meeting on Tuesday August 21st at 6:30 p.m at the Sports Arena.   Meet new Head Coach Kyle Routon and get Information on the upcoming season.  The meeting is for all students  grades 7-12 interested in wrestling

State Wrestling Champs

Oxford won its second straight Class 6A state wrestling title Saturday during the final day of the AHSAA State Wrestling Championships at the Von Braun Center. The Yellow Jackets scored 203 points. Jakob Chisolm (126), Matt King (152) and heavyweight Clay Webb all won state titles. Webb won the Most Pins Award in 6A. Team

South Super Regional Champion

The wrestling team won the South Super Regional tournament on Sat Feb 10. The team will travel to the state tournament on Thurs Feb 15 to compete in the state tournament in Huntsville.  

Duals Wrestling Tment Jan 20

Spanish Fort is the winner from 6A Region 1 for the State Dual Playoffs. Gulf Shores was the runner-up. Oxford was the winner from 6A Region 2; Benjamin Russell was the runner-up.  Matches are at Spanish Fort High School on Jan 20 The schedule for the days matches is as follows ((times are approximate):  12:00
